Averley Estate, Stage 4B Wetland culverts crossing

Located near Pakenham, Averley Estate offers the best of all worlds: urban living with a rural lifestyle, in a welcoming community that’s set for growth. The development has space for 1,500 homes and a projected population of 4,400 residents.

Miglic MacLeod has been engaged on several stages throughout the development.
Stage 4B engagement included box culvert base slab, barrier, end walls and fence along with the required head & wing walls.

Services included:

  • review of site geotechnical report and civil drawings
  • update design of pit4 of stage 3 to suit new layout
  • culverts base slab design to accommodate 2 cells for the crossing
  • concrete with snap brick finish or brickwork retaining and head walls design up to 3.5m tall
  • allowance for feature painted steel posts base connection
  • safety barrier and footing design to end walls design
  • certificate of compliance – design for all documented structures
  • site inspections during construction phase
