Miglic MacLeod was engaged for civil and structural engineering design services for the renovation of Clarendon Children’s Centre at 400-412 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.
The goal was to increase the capacity of the facility and upgrade to comply with current regulations, while maintaining respect to the heritage significance of the building.
Services included issue of Reg 126 – certificate of structural compliance, design and documentation of glass balustrades, review of proprietary roof trusses or steel stud design, coordination with hydraulics engineer, landscape designers and coordination with council for submission of civil design documents.
