Thurgoona Golf Club Resort
Thurgoona Country Club Resort is a semi-private facility offering an 18-hole championship course is 6372m, par 72 for the men and 5480m, par 74 for the ladies.
The works at Thurgoona Country Club Resort include extensions and alteration to the Golf Club and an internal refit of one motel wing. The proposed works will increase the building area from 2,920 m2 to approximately 4,670 m2.
Structural scope of services included:
- structural engineering schematic design and advice to Design Architect
- full design service for Tender/CC and Construction documentation phase
- documentation at DA stage suitable for cost planning
- assist in briefing the Geotechnical engineer
- structural design and advice for the newly added alfresco gaming area/offices/gymnasium, terraces, and cart storage; new functions rooms/pre-function, BOH, and amenities an d new terrace extension, including slab and roof
- full structural design, documentation and certification of proposed works for tender / CC and Construction
- liaise with Architect and Consultants throughout the life of the project
- provide advice where required to assist QS in preparing Cost Plans
- assistance with reviewing tenders for the structural aspects of the project
