Ararat Road Upgrade

In 2019, Ararat Rural City Council identified a number of key road upgrade projects in Western Victoria. They looked to Miglic MacLeod to provide civil engineering services for the redevelopment of Helendoite and Tatyoon North Roads in Tatyoon, and Willaura-Wickliffe Road in Willaura.

The roads are of strategic importance to the local region and the agricultural industry, providing linkages to main roads for heavy transport carrying produce, fodder, and sheep and cattle. School bus routes also use these roads, which were narrow and in poor condition, including having weak shoulders and pavements.

Miglic MacLeod provided rural road design services to Ararat Rural City Council. We ensured that the work to reconstruct and widen the roads, strengthen pavements, and install new guard rails was delivered promptly and efficiently.

These critical developments improved the ability of vehicles to pass and overtake safely. Miglic MacLeod is pleased to have developed an effective working relationship with Ararat Rural City Council to support the safety of the local community.
