Structural Engineer
Ritu is a highly competent structural engineer with more than 15 years’ experience in Australia, India and the UK, capable of designing structures to India, British and Australian standards. She has lived in Australia for the past 5 years, working on residential, commercial and industrial building projects. Ritu is experienced in both reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
She is proficient in organising engineering manoeuvre from concept stage to final design and preparing drawing packages. Ritu is an effective team player, collaborative and able to guide and support junior team members to contribute, driving efficiency on each project. Ritu contributes a detailed, considerate approach to each project, collaborating and ensuring effective teamwork is core to obtaining optimised solutions and outcomes.
Ritu understands how to engineer structures to accommodate all necessary loads including industrial and multiple storied buildings. She has designed steel, timber and masonry structures including adaptation, extension, alteration and refurbishment projects. She undertakes analysis of structures for lateral stability under different seismic and climatic conditions. Ritu is proficient across a variety of software tools and packages including Structural Toolkit, Spacegass, Cadesuite, Ram Concept, Rapt, Condeck Hp, Wallap Analysis, Staadpro, Etabs, Autocad, Cads, Eurobeam, Prosteel, Mathcad and Tedds.
