An astute, solutions-focussed, and optimistic structural and civil engineer, Reza has over 20 years of experience working on large to small projects in Australia and abroad. He is known by his clients for finding solutions that make things work, meeting compliance requirements, his strong attention to detail, and his understanding of constructability of structures.   As Director, Reza's role is to deliver on the vision and strategy for the business and manage and mentor the highly skilled and qualified Miglic MacLeod team. Reza works with clients to understand detailed requirements and works with and mentors the structural and civil engineering teams to ensure client requirements are delivered on time, on budget, and specification. He is an expert designing structures in a wide range of materials including steel, concrete, aluminium, timber, glass, masonry, and cables. He has designed structures across many sectors including education, commercial, industrial, civil, public, heritage, sports, cultural, mixed-use, residential, and retail.

As passionate, sincere, and dynamic qualified structural engineer, Joy offers more than 18 years of international experience working with Australian, US, and British design standards. This broad experience provides Joy the ability to draw upon his combined practice across each standard and deliver the most efficient, safe, and cost-effective designs. 

Joy holds deep local knowledge of industry best practice including thorough construction expertise working with small to tier one global firms. He has significant experience across multiple industry sectors including infrastructure, commercial, residential, industrial, education, aviation, defence, and health and aged care. Joy is an expert in the design of structures using steel, concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, aluminium, glass, and light gauge steel. Joy is proficient in five languages and sees engineering as an opportunity to contribute to the communities in which he lives and works.

Olivia is a practiced Executive Assistant with 17 years’ experience primarily in mining and construction. Certified in Governance and Practice Administration as well as Applied Corporate Law, Olivia provides operational and strategic support to Miglic MacLeod.

Annie is a highly experienced finance and systems manager, blending strong financial acumen with advanced data analytics. Her expertise in business systems and operational management drives efficiency and strategic decisions. With a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Business IT, she brings a unique blend of financial and technological skills.   Her experience spans finance and operations in consulting and not-for-profit sectors, providing a broad skillset. Annie uses data analytics to extract insights, informing positive outcomes and generating value. She ensures robust financial management, reporting, and effective implementation of budgets and systems. As a dedicated professional, Annie has a proven track record of collecting and presenting critical information, delivering impactful results across various organisations.

With over 19 years of international experience in Australia, India, and the UK, Ritu is a highly skilled structural engineer capable of designing structures to Australian, Indian, and British standards. Her engineering design experience includes the use of multiple materials including reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry across residential, education, commercial, health and aged care, and industrial buildings.   Ritu is an expert in designing mid-rise buildings, cross-drainage structures including culverts, drainage pits, refurbishment of existing dwellings and apartments, retaining walls, and landscapes. She holds significant experience in the assessment of existing residential structures, including site inspections, project management, and forensic engineering. Ritu enjoys combining her strong communication skills, international experience, and expertise designing with a wide array of materials to create innovative, economic, and safe engineering solutions that bring dream projects to life.

Cici is a Structural and Civil Engineer with over 13 years of experience in residential and commercial design. She excels in drafting, modelling, designing, and detailing concrete and steel structures, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. Proficient in Structural Toolkit, SPACE GASS, Inducta, Rapt, Cadesuite, WALLAP, and AutoCAD, Cici delivers high-quality projects on time and on budget. Cici's expertise in structural analysis, materials, and construction methods allows her to optimize designs for performance, cost, and sustainability. She collaborates effectively with architects and contractors, providing innovative solutions that meet technical and client requirements.

Ben is a Structural Engineer with 9 years of experience in Australia and New Zealand. He specializes in multi-lot residential developments, structural design up to three storeys, high-risk structures, and construction observations. Ben is proficient in timber, steel, pre-cast, and in-situ concrete designs. Ben also excels in large-scale infrastructure design, including drainage structures, retaining works, and landscaping. He has a keen interest in forensic engineering for residential, commercial, and heritage structures. Proficient in Structural Toolkit, Spacegass, Rapt, SLB, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, Ben enjoys finding cost-effective and innovative solutions. His passion for engineering is evident in the positive impact his projects have on communities.

A highly focussed, responsive, and collaborative civil engineer, Amir has seven nine of experience working in civil infrastructure projects in Australia and abroad. This experience was gained across a wide variety of sectors including commercial, retail, residential, industrial, health and aged care, and education settings with his experience extending to significant on-site work.  He is proficient with hydraulic modelling and design, subdivisions and roads drainage design, road and carpark design, and flood modelling. Amir is an expert in the design and analysis of road and bridge drainage systems, basins, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), and provides accurate hydrological analysis for civil works. He is a strong communicator and problem-solver and draws great satisfaction from seeing his designs built and performing well.

Adrian is a dedicated civil engineer with three years of experience in Australian infrastructure projects, including multi-storey and single house dwellings, apartment complexes, industrial sites, and pavement designs. He excels in surface runoff modelling, subdivisions and roads drainage design, road and carpark design, and flood modelling, adhering to Australian Standards. Adrian is proficient in 12d, Civil 3D, MUSIC, OSD4W, and AutoCAD. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil and Infrastructure from RMIT, Adrian's solutions-focused mindset and effective communication make him a valuable collaborator. His passion for engineering is evident in his ability to deliver high-quality, functional solutions while ensuring health and safety compliance.

As a highly experienced structural and civil draftsperson with over 22 years’ experience, Carl is an expert at creating accurate and insightful drawings utilising concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and posttensioned concrete. This experience has spanned residential, industrial, commercial, education, public, heritage, sports, cultural, mixed-use, retail, and corrections structures in Australia and internationally.   As Drafting Lead, Carl is responsible for Miglic MacLeod’s drafting team. He and his team interpret and marry architectural and engineering inputs, generating accurate documents for builders and other tradespeople. The high level of accuracy of this work reduces the amount of information requests throughout construction, ensuring more accurate tendering and minimises mistakes made on site. Carl enjoys helping bring projects to life by straddling engineering inputs and artistic visualisations and gains great satisfaction seeing his projects being built.

Ruvini is a skilled Revit Structural Drafter with a strong foundation in Structural Engineering. She excels in creating detailed and accurate structural models using Revit software, leveraging her extensive knowledge of various structural materials and design principles. Her proficiency in translating complex structural concepts into practical digital representations ensures efficient and effective project execution.

 With expertise in materials such as steel, concrete, and timber, Ruvini collaborates seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive structural solutions. Her attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to continuous learning make her an invaluable asset to any project team.

Ken MacLeod has built a distinguished engineering career spanning more than five decades, underpinned by technical excellence, innovation and a practical understanding of construction. Driven by a passion for private consultancy, Ken founded MacLeod Consulting in 2000, growing the practice into a respected multidisciplinary engineering firm. Miglic MacLeod has continued to evolve while maintaining the values established by Ken - technical excellence, practical engineering and client-focused solutions. Today, Miglic MacLeod combines Ken's ongoing mentorship and decades of experience with Reza's leadership and contemporary engineering expertise to deliver innovative, efficient and enduring structural engineering outcomes.

Holding a MBA qualification, his professional memberships include the Institution of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Peter has overseen many engineering design, tender development, and consultancy projects in the last three decades. His experience covers many industry sectors including education, high-end residential, heritage and specialist assessments, roads and transport infrastructure, and health and aged care.
